Anthony Joshua prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight-bout fight which will be streamed live on the streaming platform.
British boxer Anthony Joshua declared he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "break" the American as the combatants came face-to-face to publicize the upcoming heavyweight fight.
Ex twice world boxing king Anthony Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Boxer's Attitude
"I'm going to break his face and hurt his body. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," Joshua, 35 years old, stated.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I intend to genuinely try to injure him. That's my goal."
Respectful Exchange
Despite these statements, a calm Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - usually recognized for his theatrics - exchanged pleasantries and maintained decorum with each other.
Paul rather criticized former Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and labeled him "a joke" after Ngannou turned down a match opportunity.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, targeted British opponent Tyson Fury - and rejected a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] outshines Fury - he showed up," Joshua stated.
"I acknowledge that."
Serious Opponent
In spite of saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Joshua chose not to speak negatively about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he stated.
Jake Paul's Background
Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has mostly boxed MMA fighters or faded names since entering professional boxing.
He lost to British fighter Fury in last year.
Financial Attraction
However, the novice remains one of boxing's greatest commercial attractions, regularly earning substantial financial rewards.
Prediction and Belief
The 28-year-old forecast a KO victory in rounds four or five and stated he would derail the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently in the works for two years from now.
"The next fight will be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul said.
Size Difference
As the two fighters engaged in the usual face-off, with their size difference evident, it drove home just how unlikely this complete situation is - and how remarkable it is that the bout is truly going ahead.
